Finding your match
We talk through your boundaries, including the relationship you’d like with the family you help.
You have time to ask questions and get to know each other. A match moves forward only when you both say yes.
Room to ask. Time to decide.

People, before process
Caroline, Tara and Kayde keep track of your questions and plans, so each conversation builds on the last. You’ll have a named contact throughout your time with Thread.

Meet Kayde: a short video about what the process is really like, in her own words.
1.Answer a few questions
Share a little about yourself and your health and pregnancy history. Then talk with Caroline about the process and any questions you have.
2.Prepare together
We gather your medical records and guide you through intake and screening. Tara keeps you informed about what’s happening and what you need to do next.
3.Choose each other
Meet the family and decide together whether to move forward. After you match, we help coordinate the remaining screening and legal steps before transfer.
4.Pregnancy and birth, planned around you
From pregnancy through delivery, your Thread team stays in touch and helps coordinate support and next steps with you and the intended parents.
5.Recover with support
After delivery, your recovery plan begins. We stay in touch through your first postpartum year.

We’ll take the next step together.
